Disable Font Awesome if you use a plugin for it
This theme includes the Font Awesome icon set. However, if you use or plan to use a plugin that already has Font Awesome loading in your site, we don’t want to see our font awesome load twice, so I’ve added a setting in the customizer to disable the theme’s own font awesome.

WordPress Custom Header Image banners
Unlike the previous tutorial for setting up a different banner image and caption box for select pages, this one is not quite as flexible, but it does have a built-in feature that lets you display the same image and caption across all pages of your website, or you can even set it to randomly rotate images when pages load.

An introduction to the Grid Plugin
This is more of an introduction than a tutorial for my Opportune Grid plugin that you will find in the original download package of this theme. You won’t need this installed because the Opportune Pro theme already has a grid layout that is based on the Bootstrap version 3 framework…or partially I should say.
An introduction to shortcodes for Opportune Pro
Opportune Pro includes a shortcodes plugin in the downloaded package. When you install the “Opportune Shortcodes” plugin, you will add many new elements that you would not otherwise have had from the theme itself. Using a plugin method, you can later change themes and if all goes well, your shortcodes should still work and still maintain their original styles. Note that I said should because there may be other themes or plugins that might override Opportune’s shortcode styling. To try and prevent this, we prefixed the name “opportune” to each style like this example:
